How Training Works at Marsden Fit
This means you can attend coached sessions to learn movements and push your training, while also having the flexibility to train when it suits your schedule.
Whether you prefer coached sessions or open training times, you'll always have a clear workout plan and a supportive community around you.
Flexible Training (Open Gym)
Members can train during flexible Open Gym times throughout the week.
You can follow the daily Marsden Fit programming, train alongside other members completing the same workout, or follow your own training program.
This option gives you the flexibility to train when it suits your schedule while still being part of the Marsden Fit community.
Saturday Morning Sessions
Our Saturday sessions are longer, more social workouts often completed with a partner or small team.
They’re a great opportunity to train alongside members from different class times during the week and bring a friend along to experience Marsden Fit for the first time.
Expect a fun, challenging workout and a great community atmosphere.
Functional Fit
Functional Fit sessions begin with a specific warm-up followed by the focus of the day (squat, deadlift, gymnastics, Olympic lifting and more). After a strength or skill portion we move into a workout designed to build strength, fitness and resilience.
This style of training improves total body strength, coordination, cardiovascular fitness and endurance.
Workouts can always be scaled to suit your ability, and during coached sessions our coaches will guide you through movements and help you adjust the workout to suit your body and capabilities.
FAST Fit
FAST FIT sessions focus on building fitness using machines, bodyweight movements and light weights.
The workouts use simple, low-skill movements, making them easy to follow while still delivering a challenging and effective workout.
You don’t need to overthink it — just turn up, move hard and improve your fitness.
Don’t be mistaken though, these sessions are tough and full of challenges that will push your conditioning to the next level.
These sessions have a great atmosphere where members push and encourage each other through the workout.
Timetable
If you are new to Marsden Fit or joining us on a trial, please attend the RED sessions only.
GREY and GREEN sessions are available to full-time members and those approved by our coaches to attend.
